In the 1950's and 60's sizing information began appearing in the bottom right corner. Pendleton label from 1970 to 1994, with Woolmark logo on the tag. Shirts from the 1970's to 1994 can be identified by the Woolmark Tag which remained unchanged until the early 1990's.
British weaver Thomas Kay laid the foundation when he arrived in Oregon in 1863. His expertise lives on in Pendleton's tweed, flannel and worsted wool apparel. Kay's grandsons, the three Bishop brothers, opened Pendleton Woolen Mills in the early 1900s.
Condition: Lovingly restore and hand laundered with special wool wash by Nuna Knits. Wool Pile is super smooth and even fabric. Blanket fringe has been restored and trimmed.
